Coan Photography was born in 1998 on the canals of Venice, Italy and in the historic streets of Heidelberg, Germany. It was in these beautiful cities that I fell in love with photography and the story behind the lens.
It wasn't until 2007 that my dream to become a photographer came true with the support of my husband, Chris, and the teaching of the New York Institute of Photography. Photography is now my part time career , with my children being the other half. I have the privilege of being a stay at home mom during the week, so therefore I try to keep photography for the weekends.
My husband Chris is part of Coan Photography as well. He will occasionally ocompany me to weddings and photo shoots as a second photographer, and he also helps with a lot of the editing done after the shoot.
